About
An eight-week introduction to oil paint — handling and safety, mixing colour, composition, and painting both from life and from imagination — for students aged 16 and up. At Art Lab, inside Snug Harbor at 1000 Richmond Terrace; take the Staten Island Ferry, then the S40 along Richmond Terrace. $292 for Wednesdays 7 October to 25 November, 5:30–8pm. At roughly $15 an hour of tuition it is the cheapest way into oils we list on Staten Island, against $470 for Art Lab's own Painting Studio.
