A two-session private workshop in which a couple carves their own wedding bands in wax, which the studio then casts in the metal you pick, from sterling silver through platinum and 14k to 22k gold. At Fitzgerald Jewelry, 243 Grand St in Williamsburg, near Bedford Av (L) and Marcy Av (J, M, Z). Listed from $600 on the workshop page and at $1,150 on the product page, with metal charged separately at wholesale; the first session runs about four hours and the second about two, at least a week apart, scheduled after purchase between 12 and 6 PM. Of the 18 jewelry classes on our calendar, Fitzgerald's private sessions are the only ones in North Brooklyn.
