A two-hour private session for beginners in which you saw, solder, shape and finish up to five thin sterling-silver stacking rings, with hammered or twisted textures if you like; all tools and metal are included. At Fitzgerald Jewelry, 243 Grand St in Williamsburg, a few blocks from Bedford Av (L) and Marcy Av (J, M, Z). $250, final sale; you buy first and the studio then emails to set a slot between 12 and 6 PM (10:30 AM on request, no evenings), and weekend dates book up about three weeks out. Of the 18 jewelry classes on our calendar, Fitzgerald's private sessions are the only ones in North Brooklyn.
