A one-day intensive in bundle dyeing: folding flowers, leaves and food scraps into cloth napkins, binding them tight and steaming so the plants print their colour directly onto the fabric. At the Textile Arts Center, 505 Carroll St in Gowanus, near Union St (R). Saturday December 5, 2026, 11am to 5pm; TAC prices its full-day intensives between $225 and $450, with the exact fee on the booking page. Thirteen of the 18 textile and fiber classes on our calendar are in Brownstone Brooklyn, nearly all of them at TAC.
