A weekend on the small sewn bands at the head and tail of a book's spine, trying different core materials and working them onto text blocks. At the Center for Book Arts, 28 W 27th St, third floor; R or W to 28 St. $450 for Saturday and Sunday, 21 and 22 November, 11am to 5pm. It runs the same weekend as the Center's type-as-image letterpress class, so pick one.
