Block Printing on Textiles

An evening of block printing on fabric: a short history of the craft, then carving your own 2.5-inch block and printing it onto textile samples and paper. The carving block, tools and fabric are provided, and the block goes home with you. At the Brainery, 190 Underhill Ave in Prospect Heights (Grand Army Plaza, 2/3); $65, Thursday 12 November, 6–9pm. It is the only block-printing class on our calendar this autumn.
