A one-day intensive in wheat weaving, soaking and plaiting straw stems into a traditional harvest ornament to hang at home. At the Textile Arts Center, 505 Carroll St in Gowanus, near Union St (R). Sunday November 8, 2026, 11am to 5pm; TAC prices its full-day intensives between $225 and $450, with the exact fee on the booking page. Thirteen of the 18 textile and fiber classes on our calendar are in Brownstone Brooklyn, nearly all of them at TAC.
