A one-day intensive in nuno felting, working loose wool fibre through a silk or gauze base with water and friction until the two bond into a light, drapey felted cloth. At the Textile Arts Center, 505 Carroll St in Gowanus, near Union St (R). Sunday November 1, 2026, 11am to 5pm; TAC prices its full-day intensives between $225 and $450, with the exact fee on the booking page. Thirteen of the 18 textile and fiber classes on our calendar are in Brownstone Brooklyn, nearly all of them at TAC.
