A Room of Our Own: Intro to the Command Line

About

A beginner workshop on the command line led by multimedia artist and creative technologist Viola He: you start by moving around your own laptop from the terminal, then log into a shared computer to practise basic bash commands, play an escape-room game and build a collective "room" out of text files, folders and small scripts. Bring a Mac, Windows or Linux laptop. At CultureHub, 47 Great Jones St (3rd floor) in NoHo, near Bleecker St (6) and Broadway–Lafayette St (B/D/F/M); $45, Tuesday 27 October, 6:30–9pm. It is the only coding or command-line workshop on our calendar.
