The follow-on bowl course for people who have done Bowl Turning for Beginners or equivalent, working towards thinner walls, cleaner profiles and better finishes. Mondays 12 to 26 October, 7–10pm, at Makeville's Gowanus woodshop, 119 8th St, a short walk from 4 Av–9 St (F, G, R). $480 tuition plus a $70 materials and equipment fee. It is the only intermediate turning course on our calendar.
