The basics of copper etching over four evenings: plate preparation, drypoint, hard and soft ground, aquatint, and printing in register. Held at the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, 323 W 39th St; A, C or E to 42 St-Port Authority. $445 members / $495 non-members for Thursdays 8 to 29 October, 6:30 to 9:30pm, or $625 / $675 to add the optional 5 and 12 November sessions; 12 to 18 hours of free studio time included. It is the only evening etching course we list this autumn.
