A one-day intensive in hand tufting, punching yarn through backing cloth to build a pile surface. Held at the Textile Arts Center, 505 Carroll St in Gowanus; R to Union St. Sunday 4 October, 11am to 5pm; TAC prices its one-day intensives between $225 and $450, with the exact fee on the booking page. Most tufting we list is gun tufting in Midtown and Long Island City; this is the hand-tool version in Brooklyn.
