Two Monday evenings on the lathe, 28 September and 5 October, 7–10pm, at the Gowanus shop. 119 8th St, a short walk from 4 Av-9 St. $320 plus a $75 materials and equipment fee. Turning is the one wood skill nobody else on this calendar teaches — Craftsman Ave in Sunset Park carves bowls by hand rather than on a lathe.
