Join Wanaqua Garden and NYC Parks GreenThumb for a volunteer day helping repair garden beds and paint picnic benches! This community garden is cared for by volunteers who are excited to meet you and share their rich history of environmental stewardship, urban gardening, and hosting community events. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to join a growing garden!No experience necessary - beginners are welcome! We'll provide all the tools, training, and guidance to ensure a productive and safe volunteer day! Please wear sturdy work shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and bring water and snacks.
