General Interest Meeting

About

Join Farmer Yon, our volunteers, and GreenThumb Community Engagement Coordinators Gregory Anderson and Rain Abdalla for an evening of collective visioning. The Hattie Carthan Herban Farm has undergone 8 community powered volunteer clean up days, where we learned about the history of the garden and the herbs growing there. Now, we must find ways to connect with this history while determining what the future holds. We seek to answer questions like:What does becoming a member of this garden mean? What are the roles and responsibilities of a member? How does the garden serve us and the public?Come ready to sip on herbal tea, journal and share your ideas - BYOT (bring your own tea!) If you've volunteered before and would like to brew something from the garden, please reach out to Rain.Abdalla@parks.nyc.gov ahead of time.RSVP here (bit.ly/HerbanFarmFriday)
