Garden Highlights Walk

About

A leisurely 30-to-45-minute stroll with a Wave Hill Garden Guide through whatever is at its seasonal best in the gardens, pitched at adults and young adults rather than groups. Meet at the Perkins Visitor Center, 4900 Independence Ave in Riverdale; Metro-North to Riverdale or the 1 to 231st St with the Bx7/Bx10 bus. Walks run Sundays at 1 pm through Nov 29, 2026, free with admission to the grounds, drop-in with no registration, cancelled only in severe weather. Nature outings make up 30 of the 56 upcoming Bronx listings on our calendar, and this is the most regular of them.
