Every Friday evening MoMA is free to New York State residents from 5:30 to 8:30 — reserved in advance, up to two adults, proof of residency at the door. Not a monthly first-Friday thing: it happens every week, and the museum programmes drop-in drawing, talks and films inside the window. The single biggest free cultural offer in Midtown.
