Outdoor Screening: Jean-michel Basquiat

About

A free outdoor screening of the 2026 documentary Jean-Michel Basquiat by Quinn Whitney Wilson and Viridiana Lieberman, which draws on family memories, unseen artworks and archive footage, preceded by an ambient set from L'Rain (Taja Cheek) and Haitian food vendors. At Socrates Sculpture Park, 32-01 Vernon Blvd, Long Island City (N/W to Broadway, then walk west to the river). Saturday 3 October, 6–10 pm; free, registration encouraged on Eventbrite. With the summer outdoor-film seasons over, this is the last open-air screening on our calendar this year.
