Families make gel-plate prints from ferns and pressed plants, inspired by Frederic Church's sketches of Jamaica in the current exhibition. At Cooper Hewitt, 2 E 91st St (4/5/6 to 86 St). Saturday 14 November, 11 am–3 pm; free with museum admission. One of the few family printmaking sessions on our calendar; nearly all the printmaking we list is adult-only.
